Bloomberg Building Tour and High Line Walking Tour FULL

Tuesday, September 3rd/ Wednesday, September 4th / Thursday, September 5th - 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

At a short walking distance from the Javits Center, discover the Bloomberg Building, a not for profit arts center located on the West side of Manhattan. This innovative building possesses a flexible structure that has the ability to transform its shape for indoor or outdoor programming. The outer shell can expand to create a 120-feet high, light, sound and temperature-controlled hall adding 17,000 square-feet to the venue. When the shell is fixed over the building, the adjoining plaza can be used for outdoor programs or performances. The interior can also be customized to allow several events to take place at the center simultaneously.

Combined with the Bloomberg Building Tour, we are offering walking tours of the High Line. The High Line is a public park built on a historic freight rail line, elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West side. This is a public space including access to cutting edge architecture, art, nature, and design. The walking tours will be lead by local engineers that were involved with construction and historic preservation projects in the area.

Note that this tour will involve approximately 1 mile of walking.
